I don’t want to be more perfect, nor massively thin – that would be perfectly awful! I just want to get rid of muscular fat which is not a tremendously small part of my make-up. Having realised that I can’t get into my one & only suit for a forthcoming wedding and thus with rising deficits I have only one choice. Lose weight. Oh well, at least being a happy pessimist (I know it’s not elementary calculus) means it may not work.
